The Conti.e.Contact™ has made significant performance improvements in the areas of rolling resistance and noise levels compared to standard tyres. Reduced rolling resistance for highest mileage. The Conti.eContact features a completely new design. In addition to a larger outer and rim diameter, which allows the same load capacity with reduced tyre width, it has an optimized sidewall flexing zone with less material, optimized tread depth and rigid ribs, as well as a flat contour. Through the resulting flexible sidewall area and reduced tread movement, the tyre offers optimized rolling resistance for highest mileage.
Unrivalled braking performance and low noise emissions. The tyre's four circumferential grooves offer an even pressure distribution in the footprint. This leads to lower noise emissions. In addition, the high number of lateral sipes and no lateral grooves create a reduced acoustic excitation and an optimal 'wiper-effect'. Thus, the noise emission is further reduced and the braking distance in the wet shortened.
