The void ratio of the inside and outside are respectively 38% and 34%, and it can improve tire’s drainage efficiency and also wet handling.

3D software was used to design the tyre profile and do simulation tests to allow the best possible results to be gained before creating samples, maximizing the water dispersal, rolling resistance and performance of the tyre.
Wider section grooves between tread blocks allow better drainage performance. Serrated grooves on the tread block walls reduce road noise and quickly disperse water, whilst chamfered lateral grooves on the tread shoulder also help to reduce the rolling noise.
