The latest innovation from the Continental experts. A high performance tire that offers maximum safety and driving pleasure for highly tuned cars. The ContiSportContact™ 5 P is individually adjusted to meet the specific requirements of the front and rear axle positions. With precise steering and maximum grip under all conditions the vehicle’s perform to their full potential on the road. The ContiSportContact™ 5 P doesn’t only go fast – it stops fast too. It is therefore recommended by leading experts.
Designed for sports and high-performance vehicles. The super-sports tyre with superior handling for maximum fun. Engineered in Germany, Continental offers premium tyres with optimum braking performance and safety. Perfect steering precision and sporty handling just as short braking distance thanks to black chilli technology. Test winner by Auto Bild sportscars in their summer tyre test 2014 (sizes tested: 255/40 R 19 and 285/35 R 19)'.
Perfect steering precision and sporty handling. The solid, sturdy central ribs, attached tread lugs, plus asymmetrical tread ribs ensure optimum, longitudinal stiffness in the tyre and reduced movement in the tread. This means steering forces are transmitted straight to the road.
Outstanding grip and stability during cornering. A supple macro-block design on the outer shoulder and solid central ribs, ensure that the tyre adapts perfectly to the road surface. Particularly during fast cornering the contact patch is increased. The driver receives excellent feedback when approaching the limit and the tyre provides outstanding grip with maximum stability.
Rolling resistance-optimised ‘cap and base’ tread. The two tread components – ‘cap’ and ‘base’ – complement the balanced compound concept and ensure good grip in the wet, whilst at the same time providing short braking distances and reduced rolling resistance. The ‘cap’, on the outside, provides good grip in the wet and short braking distances, whilst the ‘base’, on the inside, reduces rolling resistance. Together they achieve more positive road grip and retain kinetic energy, whilst simultaneously ensuring high safety.
Short braking distances on both wet and dry roads. Black Chili Technology is a specially developed compound technology involving an innovative type of racing grade carbon black, which ensures a speedy warm-up process and greater stability. The polymers in the compound are reinforced with nano particles, making them extremely supple. Thus they provide more contact points with the road, so grip is substantially enhanced and the tyre far more stable. In addition, special grip resins provide optimum interlocking with both wet and dry roads, thus achieving shorter braking distances.
(1) Compared with MICHELIN Pilot Sport PS2. Internal tests carried out in 2010.
(2) The best dry handling. Tests carried out in 2010 and in 2011 by TÜV Sud on tyre sizes 245/40ZR18Y & 255/35ZR19Y, compared to its main competitors (available on the European market at the time).
(3) The fastest lap time on a dry track. Tests carried out in 2010 by TÜV on tyre sizes 245/40ZR18Y & 235/35ZR19Y, compared to its 5 premium competitors (available on the market at the time).
(4) The world’s fastest cars are equipped with MICHELIN tyres. Bugatti Veyron and Shelby SuperCars exceeded a speed of 250 mph with MICHELIN Pilot Sport PS2.
Flagship tyre of the ADVAN series. A superior sports tyre with ultra high-speed capabilities (over 300 km/h*) for super cars. The ADVAN Sport provides balance at a high level, resulting not only in sporty performance, but also excellent characteristics on wet pavement, a good ride, low noise, as well as many other features demonstrative in its class. Ideal for performance cars, from high-powered saloons to tuned cars. *Speed capability dependent on dimension.
A high-grip compound created through joint development with super sports car manufacturers. The new compound developed for ADVAN Sport was tested many times under hypervelocity conditions, and is the ultimate model from YOKOHAMA. This high-grip rubber ensures both flexibility and strength.
„Innovation“ is our tradition. ADVAN’s asymmetrical pattern, which is its tradition, is proof of its place in the history of the sports tyre. You can actually feel its outstanding drivability.
Specifically designed for high-speed driving, the ADVAN Sport ensures stability in high-powered sports cars. Using the latest technologies, the ADVAN Sport, designed for speed, accomplishes a high resistance and accurately simulates the loading stress on your tyres during driving.
Shorter braking distances in all weather conditions.
The new Micro Flexibility Compound ensures an optimum interlocking between tyre and road surface. This guarantees better acceleration and shorter braking distances at high and low temperatures – in wet or dry conditions. (grip)
Force Vectoring for maximum control, a new era in tread pattern development.
The improved inner and outer tread pattern ensures best steering precision and support for lateral forces during cornering. The advanced Macro Block Design keeps you safe and in control at any manoeuvre. Stiff centre ribs and asymmetric concave longitudinal grooves greatly support overall stability. (control)
Aralon350™, the new adaptive hybrid cap ply for maximum high speed up to 350 km/h.
The sophisticated Aralon350™ technology accelerates your vehicle safely up to 350 km/h. This newly designed strong Hybrid Cap Ply provides a controlled tyre growth – even at highest speeds. (stability)
This V-rated tire provides safe winter driving year after year with controlled power.
Equipped with an exclusive tread design and Stabiligrip, a 3D sipe technology, the new Michelin® Pilot® Alpin® PA4™ tire delivers a 10% improvement in snow acceleration and more than a 5% enhancement in handling on snow covered and icy roads.
