The 21st of March 2012 marked a milestone in the history of Tirendo: On this day the company around founders Felix Vögtle (Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Human Resources) and Erik Heinelt (Production, Business Intelligence and IT) went life.

Within the acquisition, the management board received a new member and support by Markus Bihler (Finance, Investor Relations, Internationalization and Organisational Development) in September 2013. In the run he worked as a private equity investor at EQT Partners in Munich and Warsaw and at the Blackstone Group in London. In Summer 2013 he was involved significantly in the merge of Deltikom AG and Tirendo. Felix Vögtle worked after his studies as a Managing Director at Gimigames, a platform for puzzle games, as well as at the Rocket environment. Erik Heinelt was also active for Rocket Internet GmbH before Tirendo and has been employed as a second managing director of Dafiti, a fashion platform for the South American market.
Tirendo partnered from 2012 - 2015 with the four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel as a brand ambassador. The racer was the main character in the spectacular and entertaining commercials of the tire professionals. These are broadcasted on multiple TV-channels in Germany, Austria as well as the Netherlands and Poland.
