Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly &#39;active&#39; driving. I&#39;ve removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I&#39;m not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.

I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.

Nice tyre for the money, excellent dry grip! I couldn&#39;t afford something really nice from Michelin but was very impressed with it. Used two different size on two cars and the only let down (no pun intended) was i did get 2 flats on 1 car and 1 on the other at various times over the first months of ownership but the replacements have been fine. Just bad luck perhaps but makes me think the sidewalls are not the best for abuse, potholes etc.

I bought these tyres because I do occasional track days. If I drive hard on a track day the outer edge of my front tyres are heavily worn. I wanted a tyre that would withstand a track day, but still be good for everyday use. This tryre is perfect for this. Not outer edge issues at all on track day and plenty of grip in wet winter on normal roads. My fuel consumption has increased a lot. I do not know if this is the tyres (only fitted on front) or because I am doing shorter trips due to lock down.

For a summer tyre, these are great in the wet, adimitadly there&#39;s still plenty of tread left so this could be part of this. A lot of people said these were no good in the wet, that&#39;s rubbish. Damp or wet roads these still have better levels of grip than a normal road tyre, they just don&#39;t handle standing water very well (As would be expected this this type of tyre). As long as you drive to the conditions you won&#39;t have any issues with rain. I&#39;ve even had 3 days in the snow with these...lets just make it clear these are NOT snow tyres but they done suprisingly well. The only thing I noticed is that you have to warm them up, when cold they seem a bit loose. After a few minutes driving they get to decent levels of grip but you need to drive a bit harder than normal road conditions to get them to full potential. It would have been nice if they were still available in this size with the softer compound. They are on the latest MSA list 1B though so don&#39;t get caught out - some of the smaller events like the autosolos won&#39;t allow you to run with them. The side walls are stiff enough to give some sharp turn in but you trade that off with road noise and a stiffer ride but again that is to be expected. All in all these are great tyres for the price.

Bought these to supplement some identical branded ones with a 2021 date code. The newer tyres are made in India, have much thicker sidewalls, the rubber feels harder and they weigh noticeably more. I&#39;ve put them on the back and they&#39;re ok, but the quality has certainly dropped.

I noted a vibration when over 60 MPH on the motorway, a few days after the tyres were fitted and balanced. i took them for rebalancing, but this did not stop the vibration sensed through the steering wheel. Jacking up the front wheels I found that one tyre had a flat spot about 70mm long and 3 mm deep. Instead of returning this for replacement it was quicker and more convenient to switch the tyre from front to back, the vibration was then not noticeable on the steering wheel. I have had this brand and type for years and this was the first problem.

Really excellent in the dry for an all-season tyre. Very progressive handling, too. Even at the Nordschleife racetrack they were unvelievable. Infinite amount of grip, you can feel your eyes about to exit your head when braking for every corner. I used these on my drift/track car, and yes I know many won&#39;t see the point, but having had many years experience in instructing on track, track etiquette, super cars experience and drifting techniques and coaching. I am aware of the difference between road tyres, track biased and racing slicks. These by no means are either of the latter but ultimately if you prefer the predictability of a road tyre and good overall performance then I&#39;d recommend these. Good dry/wet grip and reasonable wear. I would say these would be better on a lighter car. My E36 328 sport is fully stripped with a cage, it handles and out performs my E46 M3 I owned and tracked for 8 years. Having come across many E46 M3s &amp; many other performance cars on track cornering ability was strong, keeping up and overtaking many of those cars (I also did get overtaken by a few, buty ego is check and I&#39;m no issue with that) with these tyres on UK tracks and at Spa Francorchamps / Nurburgring this year (2019). They will heat up and you will find the limits of these, so if you like abusing your car on track lap after lap for 10+ laps in 30*C temps without a break, then get slicks or track comps but if you have some mechanical sympathy then I&#39;d recommend these Sunny&#39;s. Overall a good option for the road and possibly track/drift if you have a lighter car. And don&#39;t mind a softer sidewall. I will be buying these again and hope this info helps someone. Thanks

Excellent budget tyre. Grip not noticeably different from Perelli P zeros, Continential Contactsport2 that I have used before and I usually drive with traction control off to feel what grip I have. I've had to lower the pressure on the rears as they were wearing in the centre. But I have had this with other makes. 10,000miles on the rears, tread down from 8mm to 4.3mm in the centre 6mm on the edge.

Because they&#39;re NOT asymmetric you can swap them across rims to share out inner shoulder wear and extract a lot more useful mileage. That&#39;s a rarity these days, and together with no major weaknesses it makes these tyres a great option.

I changed from ditch finders to these so is a great improvement but these saved my family&#39;s life&#39;s literally my brakes failed and tyres kept us on the rd when needed apart from that they take the bumps in the rd ok amazing grip in the wet . I can&#39;t really comment on wear as it&#39;s too early. Recommended

Driving within my own ability and the ability of the vehicle I choose to drive is what I do. The tyres on my car are part of the interface between driver and road. I prefer to drive with the tyres fully inflated in order to feel the feedback from the surface of the road through noise, suspension and steering, I ballance throttle and brake response with weather conditions, road conditions and temperature. Tyres with less grip just dictate that I should moderate speed and braking at an increased rate. Noisey tyres provide slightly better feedback than silent tyres. The road with current traffic congestion burden isnt the place for performance spirited driving but is the place where defensive driving must be used. I would describe my tyres as competent.

The biggest problem with these tyres ar that they do not have rip protection. I have been using Hancooks on my previous car, so when looking for tyres for my current car, Hancooks came to mind. I had a better driving experience with the tyres that I replaced.

These tyres give a superb quiet ride. I also have these tyres fitted to the front of my vehicle, which have now completed 45,000 km and the wear is every bit as good as the Michelin tyres they replaced. Although I do not drive in an aggressive manner I have not noticed any detriment in road holding or fuel consumption.

I bought these tyres because I do occasional track days. If I drive hard on a track day the outer edge of my front tyres are heavily worn. I wanted a tyre that would withstand a track day, but still be good for everyday use. This tryre is perfect for this. Not outer edge issues at all on track day and plenty of grip in wet winter on normal roads. My fuel consumption has increased a lot. I do not know if this is the tyres (only fitted on front) or because I am doing shorter trips due to lock down.

For a summer tyre, these are great in the wet, adimitadly there&#39;s still plenty of tread left so this could be part of this. A lot of people said these were no good in the wet, that&#39;s rubbish. Damp or wet roads these still have better levels of grip than a normal road tyre, they just don&#39;t handle standing water very well (As would be expected this this type of tyre). As long as you drive to the conditions you won&#39;t have any issues with rain. I&#39;ve even had 3 days in the snow with these...lets just make it clear these are NOT snow tyres but they done suprisingly well. The only thing I noticed is that you have to warm them up, when cold they seem a bit loose. After a few minutes driving they get to decent levels of grip but you need to drive a bit harder than normal road conditions to get them to full potential. It would have been nice if they were still available in this size with the softer compound. They are on the latest MSA list 1B though so don&#39;t get caught out - some of the smaller events like the autosolos won&#39;t allow you to run with them. The side walls are stiff enough to give some sharp turn in but you trade that off with road noise and a stiffer ride but again that is to be expected. All in all these are great tyres for the price.

This is the only tyre in this profile/size 175/65 R15 that allows me to enjoy the mini&rsquo;s true character (the go kart handling!). This tyre has reasonable/good roll resistance (!) and great grip and handling. Most tyres these days feel like it&rsquo;s on jelly with the &ldquo;low roll resistance&rdquo; fashion. I&rsquo;ve not seen better fuel economy with the others in any case. Obviously because they grip well they wear more quickly than say a Michelin energy but really this is the only premium tyre I&rsquo;ve found that is like a sports tyre in characteristics for this profile and 15inch...which works well on the mini. It doesn&rsquo;t need big rims and low profile tyres with these continentals.

Used purely as a track tyre. Super focused, brilliant feedback in all conditions. Really competent in the wet as they give huge amounts of feedback and never just go, even when there&rsquo;s standing water on track. Wear is pretty good, I&rsquo;ve done 3 hard track days, one of them being bone dry and they&rsquo;ve held up well. Rears are in great condition and expect they&rsquo;ll last multiple days out. Fronts should do several more days out before changing.
