Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Original equipment quality: optimum adjustment to the vehicle
Tyres with a special OEM marking on the sidewall, e.g. "MO" for Mercedes-Benz, were developed in cooperation with a specific car manufacturer and the tyre industry. These tyres have been homologated by the vehicle manufacturer and are a perfect match for a specific model. They have been specially designed to highlight or further improve the performance characteristics of the car in question, thus representing the culmination of a state-of-the-art fine-tuning process that perfectly complements the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Tyres with manufacturer's markings can of course also be used on other vehicles.

Tyres are fine apart from one problem, the rears on a motorway are just really noisy at speed when they get down to around 4mm of tread, so much so that I thought it was a wheel bearing issue, and checked them out, they appeared to be OK, when I fitted new rear tyres the noise disappeared

The tire tread still retains its original groove and design but has significant wear points on both edge and there are some small tire detachments. In the few rains we have in Greece it never had a hadling problem or breaking and did not create any feeling of insecurity. in short it is a good quiet tire ROF tire, comfortable and efficient in fast driving.

This is a benign tyre. It resists aquaplaning. It gives plenty of warning before it lets go. I don't drive fast - so press-on drivers may not like it; but I cannot fault it. I do switch to winter tyres, for three months of the year. (Scotland).

Purchased these tyres for my Citroen C6 - a relatively rare car. The great thing about a C6 is that it is very refined comfortable and quiet. The previous budget Nankang tyres were terrible - much too noisy. These are superb and ideally matched to the Citroens charachteristics. I have maked grip handling etc as 5 stars because I have no evidence that they are not, but I do not drive this car like a teenage lunatic.

This is the second time I have bought a full set of these tyres. I mostly drive on motorways, country roads and off road. My fuel efficiency went up when I put on my first set. The ride is more comfortable and the grip is excellent in dry and wet weather. They have performed well on snow. Despite being all weather the rate of wear is very good. I would definitely buy them again.

My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.

Tires keep the vehicle nicely on the road, no traction problems. On ice British roads they perform great no problems stopping or going.

I&#39;ll be honest I&#39;ve never purchased all season or winter tyres before, I&#39;ve always made do with mid range to premium summer tyres. During winter I&#39;ve very rarely struggled in snow with summer tyres but after fitting the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen-3 tyres the performance in snow is night and day, no sliding, very little loss of traction and braking distance is vastly reduced. These tyres are fantastic, it&#39;s too soon to comment on wear rate which will possibly play a factor in if I purchase again but so far so good. I would highly recommend them too anyone.

Amazing tyres, grip is excellent, comfort and noise are excellent. the only thing i can fault is that the wear isn&#39;t anything special. Down to 4mm after 6000 miles. My tyre size is 245/35R18 but tyretest will not let me add the correct size above.

Excellent tyres chosen via the reviews by Jon @ tyrereviews.co.uk - they faired very well against the likes of the Michelin PS5s and at the time of buying (Feb2023) the Goodyears were &pound;250 cheaper than the PS5s; but more or less neck &amp; neck with them in the tyre review! That swung the decision for me, more so with the money saving!

These are the best UHP rated tyre available IMO. I&#39;ve used Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Pilot Sport 4 on my M140i and these Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport tyres have the beating of them. Fantastic front end grip, progressive rear at limit of adhesion. In the dry the are superb but in the wet they are pretty incredible. Amazing tyres, grip is excellent, comfort and noise are excellent. the only thing i can fault is that the wear isn&#39;t anything special. Down to 4mm after 6000 miles. My tyre size is 245/35R18 but tyretest will not let me add the correct size above.

Excellent tyres chosen via the reviews by Jon @ tyrereviews.co.uk - they faired very well against the likes of the Michelin PS5s and at the time of buying (Feb2023) the Goodyears were &pound;250 cheaper than the PS5s; but more or less neck &amp; neck with them in the tyre review! That swung the decision for me, more so with the money saving!

Car Driven : BMW 425D 225Hp . Quite quietly from the start until the first 10,000 km they kept a relatively low noise level until the end of their lives. Relatively comfortable especially considering that is a runflat tire. The tire tread still retains its original groove and design but has significant wear points on both edge and there are some small tire detachments. In the few rains we have in Greece it never had a hadling problem or breaking and did not create any feeling of insecurity. in short it is a good quiet tire ROF tire, comfortable and efficient in fast driving.

Smooth and absolutely lovely on snow, sensational grip. Great feel of safety on wet roads. Used to drive with Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter-tyres which are great too however these GoodYear UltraGrip Performance + winter-tyres are a new level of tyres.

I drive an automatic which is terrible for grip with only the slightest snowfall, and I&rsquo;m very cautious in sub zero icy weather. However with the UltraGrip Performance + tyres I was full of confidence every time I drove in sub zero weather conditions. Breaking distances were further than summer tyres, as expected, but nothing to worry about. Car performance was very good and fuel consumption while motorway cruising was better than summer tyres! There was no snowfall this year so I cannot comment.

Have tried lots of different snow tyres over years and put these on my 3 series touring to replace the Pirelli zero&rsquo;s. If anything I thought they ran quieter than the zero&rsquo;s and plenty of grip in both dry and wet conditions. Used the in snow as well and kept everything moving which is all you want from a snow tyre.

As my Volvo is a rear wheel drive automatic I always use winter tyres. Previously had Goodyear ultra grip 9 and still have them on the front. New Goodyear ultra grip 3 on rear. We&#39;re great in the recent snow, where front wheel drives were getting stuck, no doubt on summer tyres.

Car now relegated to daughters using it for general use. Fairly rural roads, with. mixed road surfaces. The XL rating of the tyre &amp; tread pattern is good for going up a farm track to where the pony has stable.

4 tyres fitted to a small Kangoo van. They perform well for a slow, tough little van/car that is used for ferrying building materials and going to and from building sites. I don&#39;t drive fast or try to push the van beyond it&#39;s limits. For this purpose the tyyes are very adequate.

This was the second time I have purchased this set of winter tyres. Winter 2023 I drove across Czech republic where a heavy snowfall suprised us on the way. With those tyres absolutely no problem, felt safe.

Tyres have performed well so far it&#39;s still early January so haven&#39;t been able to test their performance in the snow yet but they feel reasuring in the wet the car needed tyres when we brought it so a wear comparison will be difficult but I expect then to wear quicker than standard tyres as the compound is bound to be softer on a winter tyre

Noisy piece of crap. Above 110km/h changes your vehicle into vibrating boat you cannot steer safely on highway. First and last Goodride (Westlake) that I ever purchased. Avoid that chinese garbage!
