Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

These are the best UHP rated tyre available IMO. I&#39;ve used Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Pilot Sport 4 on my M140i and these Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport tyres have the beating of them. Fantastic front end grip, progressive rear at limit of adhesion. In the dry the are superb but in the wet they are pretty incredible. Very confidence inspiring meaning you can really push on where with other tyres of this type you&#39;d be backing off. Can&#39;t recommend them highly enough!

After using Michelin tires for the past 20 years model PS4, ENGERY SAVER, the cross climates on this vito crew sport, the tire life has being shocking, 8,000 miles and there so expensive 1k a set, so decided to give the Goodyear&#39;s ago, I&#39;m was shocked at how well these are performing, the ride is so much better, the Michelins have straight side walls, which ride very hard, you feel every bump..... Goodyear&#39;s ride comfort, life and grip has been amazing I&#39;ve done 17,000 miles and there is still life on the rear tires, id say there will do 22,000, and an set of these is 600 quid.... see you later Michelin, all my vans and cars are going Goodyears.....

This is the second time I have bought a full set of these tyres. I mostly drive on motorways, country roads and off road. My fuel efficiency went up when I put on my first set. The ride is more comfortable and the grip is excellent in dry and wet weather. They have performed well on snow. Despite being all weather the rate of wear is very good. I would definitely buy them again.

My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.

Smooth and absolutely lovely on snow, sensational grip. Great feel of safety on wet roads. Used to drive with Pirelli Sottozero 3 winter-tyres which are great too however these GoodYear UltraGrip Performance + winter-tyres are a new level of tyres.

I drive an automatic which is terrible for grip with only the slightest snowfall, and I&rsquo;m very cautious in sub zero icy weather. However with the UltraGrip Performance + tyres I was full of confidence every time I drove in sub zero weather conditions. Breaking distances were further than summer tyres, as expected, but nothing to worry about. Car performance was very good and fuel consumption while motorway cruising was better than summer tyres! There was no snowfall this year so I cannot comment.

Have tried lots of different snow tyres over years and put these on my 3 series touring to replace the Pirelli zero&rsquo;s. If anything I thought they ran quieter than the zero&rsquo;s and plenty of grip in both dry and wet conditions. Used the in snow as well and kept everything moving which is all you want from a snow tyre.

As my Volvo is a rear wheel drive automatic I always use winter tyres. Previously had Goodyear ultra grip 9 and still have them on the front. New Goodyear ultra grip 3 on rear. We&#39;re great in the recent snow, where front wheel drives were getting stuck, no doubt on summer tyres.

We have had winter tyres fitted to our main family car for the last 8 years and are total converts to their benefits. This was the first year I have worked as a chauffeur and didn&#39;t hesitate to have them fitted. All Mercedes vehicles wear tyres out in certain areas before the whole tyre is ready for replacement, due to their steering geometry settings. The winter tyres have outlasted the &#39;summer&#39; tyres in this aspect and are still fitted to the vehicle despite temperatures now remaining above the optimum seven degrees. I totally recommend these tyres and will have them fitted next winter.

Not too sure about the breaking properties of tyres - I tend to have more interest in their braking properties. That aside, these tyres give extra confidence on snow and cold wet roads, but once the temperature starts to increase in Spring, there is the usual drop off of performance - as expected. Just switched back to Summer tyres after the second season with these Goodyears, and still 7 to 8mm tread depth left - more than you get with some NEW tyres.

All I can say is that theses tyres are excellent value for money. It&#39;s like driving a new car again, the tyres feel responsive, grippy and not a lot of road noise which is a bug bare of mine with lots of tyres. I&#39;ve only done just over 5000 miles on them but they still look brand new so hoping the wear rate is good. But to be honest they cost less than &pound;50 a tyre fitted ( all 4 changed at same time) . So they don&#39;t need to last forever.

These were one of the worst tyres we have ever fitted. Exactly the same as previous tyres which came from manufacturer for vehicle. They wouldn&#39;t fit, had to massively overinflat to get them to grip the rim. Awful experience.

I emailed 2 weeks after I received the tires and told them that one blew out the first time I drove on it. I was told they would be sending me a FedEx slip to get it picked up and that never happened. So I only have one working tire from y'all still disappointed

These were a 1/3 the cost of bridgstones and lasted 3 times as long and handled much better also. The haida are awesome tires and I will be getting them again even if I have to pay more next time as I had got them on a special introductory low price to try them since they are a new tire out.
