1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

I had already sorted the pressures to my liking which were 36 front and 38 rear, with or without full luggage. The bike has limited adjustment on the suspension but only required a few clicks on the rear between fully loaded and rider only. I&rsquo;ve always ridden sports bikes until recently but my worries about grip handling the tight switchbacks on such a heavy bike were very quickly dispelled, No real signs of wear yet I&rsquo;ll have to see how they do for longevity, but no hesitation at buying these tyres again. I have Avon sport tyres on my Honda VTR SP1 and these tyres give the same feedback and a very comfortable ride. Front 110/80R19. Rear 150/70ZR17

First day on bike I rode down to Cornwall 230 miles door to door to my mates with no problems I was only there for 5 days yet I covered 1300 miles by the time I came back from cruzin down the A303 to all the back roads to motorway the tyre was first class.

When its sunny outside and when its warm tyres are ok (not perfect but you can drive), but when the road is wet or dirty and if its colder day, its dangerous to drive there is almost no grip. I almost fell few times on normal speed (even lower than speed limit)

My first tyre was recalled by Continental thru Delticom Tyres for a potential sidewall fault. The cost to fit the replacement tyre was £31.50 but Delticom only refunded me £11.60. I am out of pocket by £19.90 and Delticom will not refund this amount. The tyre is great but cannot recommend Delticom Tyres.

Had these on my r1200rt le the pair of Z6 Metzlers were fitted for a two up full lugage tour from England to Florence Italy 2500 miles round trip, motorway and all road types I was very happy with all aspects of these tyres performance and would recommend them without hesitation.

Due to Covid-19 not had a chance to do a real test. The commute to work has so far not thrown up any issues. When I purchased the bike it already had the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tyres fitted, I did 11300km them, did not have any issues at all hence this purchase.

From very hot temperatures on Italian Motorways, high rough surface on mountain passes in France, to wild windy and wet Scottish roads all with confidence at high medium and low speeds

Tyres need warming up properly for maximum effect. Has caught me out on a couple of occasions when not fully warmed. Otherwise a fair choice for the money but may not buy again unless cheap.

Predictable grip in the wet and dry. Seem to not wear quite as well compared to previous Bridgestones, but grip a bit better in the wet on my &lsquo;98 GSX 750, I am not a GP rider but then again, this isn&rsquo;t a &lsquo;lightweight&rsquo; 500 twin either, when riding something like this, you have to mean it and don&rsquo;t want to be let down by cheapo &lsquo;India Rubber brands&rsquo; half way round a corner. These are far better than anything that was available when the bike was new as are all mainstream brands. So far, I can&rsquo;t fault them. Generally speaking, really sticky tyres wear out quick on heavier bikes and long life tyres don&rsquo;t grip. These seem to have dual compound characteristics??

I run them 3psi higher than rated on my machine and they feel great. Very happy with the tyres and I&rsquo;ll by them again and they have now become my go to tyre!
