1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

In my experience as an Advanced Riding Instructor these tyres are fantastic whether making &#39;serious&#39; progress, touring or popping into town. I have used PR3s and PR4s for many years due to their grip levels in all conditions and their high mileage.

Fitted Pilot Road 4s almost a year ago now and have done a lot of touring and commuting on them in all seasons. They&#39;ve never let me down. Feel significantly more nimble than the previous Metzlers, dropping in quicker and almost popping from leaning one way to the other. Though to be fair the flat spot in the old ones probably made them feel worse than they would have done new.

Extremely good in dry conditions. A bit of a &quot;twich&quot; a couple of times round bends in the wet but quickly corrected. They are comfortable and good mileage ( these are my second set). Still cannot get rid of the last 1 inch chicken strip - never had these problem with the Pirelli Angel - I blame the profile :-) Very good tyres. Second pair so far... no more to say

I&rsquo;ve ridden on many tyres but I thought I&rsquo;d spend a bit more and get the Michelin road 5, I first went out when it was pouring with rain and I was astounded! The level of grip was unbelievable, the lean angle you can get was incredible, just like riding in the dry, I&rsquo;m always hard on the brakes (comes from track racing) and believe me you can get the back wheel off the floor in the wet, don&rsquo;t just whack them on the let the suspension compress first. Anyway enough rattling on, Amazing road tyres &#x1F44D;

Although my main driving is on asphalt I have also taken my bike off road on a number of occasions and I have to say that the tyres have performed very well. My opinion is that these tyres would offer you a comfortable and safe ride on dry and wet tarmac but would also help you on the Off-road adventures. Good 70/30 reliable tyres

I&#39;ve been riding 39 years, Still lovin it &amp; still pulling the trigger. If a K1600 bangs past you It&#39;s probably me and wife. The tyres have been great over almost 3000km this summer in UK &amp; ireland (a lot of 2-up with luggage) with no sign of flatfacing yet. Predictable grip in the wet and dry. Seem to not wear quite as well compared to previous Bridgestones, but grip a bit better in the wet on my &lsquo;98 GSX 750, I am not a GP rider but then again, this isn&rsquo;t a &lsquo;lightweight&rsquo; 500 twin either, when riding something like this, you have to mean it and don&rsquo;t want to be let down by cheapo &lsquo;India Rubber brands&rsquo; half way round a corner. These are far better than anything that was available when the bike was new as are all mainstream brands. So far, I can&rsquo;t fault them. Generally speaking, really sticky tyres wear out quick on heavier bikes and long life tyres don&rsquo;t grip. These seem to have dual compound characteristics??

Absolute perfection. These tyres inspire confidence! Superb handling and braking characteristics. The make my bike feel lighter and more agile. I run them 3psi higher than rated on my machine and they feel great. Very happy with the tyres and I&rsquo;ll by them again and they have now become my go to tyre!

Due to Covid-19 not had a chance to do a real test. The commute to work has so far not thrown up any issues. When I purchased the bike it already had the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tyres fitted, I did 11300km them, did not have any issues at all hence this purchase.

before i use Bridgestone tyres, when i chang to Mitas tyres i see hudge difference, rear tyre is much better stick to asphalt than with BS. Propably this is the best choice with lower price.

190/55 rear - 120/70 front. I normally buy Michelin, Dunlop or Conti Sport tyres but spotted these on eBay and read as many reviews as I could find, over a couple of weeks, before deciding to buy. I haven&#39;t been disappointed! ....Cleaned newly fitted tyres with a blast of brake cleaner, clean rag then warmed them up on a 6-mile high-speed blast around local ring road and couple of laps of 3 interconnected motorway roundabouts, before a big left-hand helical motorway slip road then up onto the pennines for a few miles of twisties. Bike felt comfortable, solid, balanced and predictable from the start. They went straight on font and rear without the need for balancing (after the valve - balance marks were lined up). Tyres have inspired more confidence with every mile and haven&#39;t squirmed in the dry yet, even under full throttle. Fantastic performance for the money.

Very grippy tires, warms up quickly, very flickable and easy to switch directions, especially when new. I tested them completely new and cold, went full gas and they didn&#39;t slide. So when new they are very grippy. After 6000 km grip gradually dissapear as tyre wears out in the middle. You can expect 10 000km from the rear and front can go at least another 3-5000 km. Higly recommend. The best cheap new tyre for your money.
