4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

In my experience as an Advanced Riding Instructor these tyres are fantastic whether making &#39;serious&#39; progress, touring or popping into town. I have used PR3s and PR4s for many years due to their grip levels in all conditions and their high mileage.

Fitted Pilot Road 4s almost a year ago now and have done a lot of touring and commuting on them in all seasons. They&#39;ve never let me down. Feel significantly more nimble than the previous Metzlers, dropping in quicker and almost popping from leaning one way to the other. Though to be fair the flat spot in the old ones probably made them feel worse than they would have done new.

Extremely good in dry conditions. A bit of a &quot;twich&quot; a couple of times round bends in the wet but quickly corrected. They are comfortable and good mileage ( these are my second set). Still cannot get rid of the last 1 inch chicken strip - never had these problem with the Pirelli Angel - I blame the profile :-) Very good tyres. Second pair so far... no more to say

I&rsquo;ve ridden on many tyres but I thought I&rsquo;d spend a bit more and get the Michelin road 5, I first went out when it was pouring with rain and I was astounded! The level of grip was unbelievable, the lean angle you can get was incredible, just like riding in the dry, I&rsquo;m always hard on the brakes (comes from track racing) and believe me you can get the back wheel off the floor in the wet, don&rsquo;t just whack them on the let the suspension compress first. Anyway enough rattling on, Amazing road tyres &#x1F44D;

I have been using Michelin roads since road 2. Simply the best wet weather and all round grip everywhere tire. The only, not really a problem, was they changed the shape/smile of the front trye on road 4&#39;s and later I was riding a Bell Ulysses and found my new 4 just sat &quot;higher&quot; and the chicken strip on the front went from almost nothing to half an inch and the Buell just did not turn into a corner like it should do so swapped the 120/70 for a 120/60 and the handling came back and the chicken strip disappeared. Bought the 120/60 version with the road 5 &amp; 6 for the same reason My bikes were 1988 &amp; 1989 Vfr750 and 2003 NT650v Deauville. My riding style is fast into corners so front end grip/control is very important for me. My old saying is &quot;Straight lines are for wimps that can&#39;t handle corners&quot; &#x1F60E;

I am very pleased with the stability and comfort of these tyres. Although my main driving is on asphalt I have also taken my bike off road on a number of occasions and I have to say that the tyres have performed very well. My opinion is that these tyres would offer you a comfortable and safe ride on dry and wet tarmac but would also help you on the Off-road adventures. Good 70/30 reliable tyres

I&#39;ve been riding 39 years, Still lovin it &amp; still pulling the trigger. If a K1600 bangs past you It&#39;s probably me and wife. The tyres have been great over almost 3000km this summer in UK &amp; ireland (a lot of 2-up with luggage) with no sign of flatfacing yet. I have recently completed a 2000 mile run on this tyre (MalleRally - Lizard to Castle of Mey / John O&#39;groats and back home). From what I had read before I started I was apprehensive about what to expect. My other co-riders were changing their tyres as we were all on Triumphs which had the tyre fitted as standard. Some reviews gave a unfavourable impression. Having spent a lot of money on other bike preparations I didn&#39;t want to replace my nearly new tyres because they only had 1500 miles on them. I have ridden in glorious sunshine, speedy bends, rutty roads, absolute downpours, greasy roundabouts and one particular high speed bend (I wish I had not been keeping up with someone on a Buell at the time). I have to say this tyre probably saved me from some bad outcomes on many occasions. It did not underperform in any way, in fact I did not have to think about my tyres because it didn&#39;t hiccup in any way. There was one moment over a cattle grid on the Yorkshire moors (my fault for braking and turning at the same time) and a slight kick out on a very tight roundabout in Ambleside in very wet conditions (I was at 45 degrees) . I felt I had to right some of the wrongs spoken about this tyre. I have only done 4000 miles on it so far, however this is a good tyre in my opinion.

My first tyre was recalled by Continental thru Delticom Tyres for a potential sidewall fault. The cost to fit the replacement tyre was £31.50 but Delticom only refunded me £11.60. I am out of pocket by £19.90 and Delticom will not refund this amount. The tyre is great but cannot recommend Delticom Tyres.

With almost 50years of motorcycle riding experience my focus is more on riding defensively and safely and only pushing to the (my) limits on track days. I have not done a track day on this set of tyres yet so cannot claim to have tested their abilities. That said, I have ridden in wet and dry weather conditions without any concerns over grip or stability. At this stage tyre wear appears good, as I would expect from Conti&#39;s, with no sign of squaring off. I am very happy with these tyres and am planning on replacing them with more of the same when the time comes.

First day on bike I rode down to Cornwall 230 miles door to door to my mates with no problems I was only there for 5 days yet I covered 1300 miles by the time I came back from cruzin down the A303 to all the back roads to motorway the tyre was first class.

Had these on my r1200rt le the pair of Z6 Metzlers were fitted for a two up full lugage tour from England to Florence Italy 2500 miles round trip, motorway and all road types I was very happy with all aspects of these tyres performance and would recommend them without hesitation.

Due to Covid-19 not had a chance to do a real test. The commute to work has so far not thrown up any issues. When I purchased the bike it already had the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 tyres fitted, I did 11300km them, did not have any issues at all hence this purchase.

Fitted new tyres for Trans Europe trip and experienced a wide range of driving conditions with confidence in these tyres throughout. From very hot temperatures on Italian Motorways, high rough surface on mountain passes in France, to wild windy and wet Scottish roads all with confidence at high medium and low speeds

Tyres need warming up properly for maximum effect. Has caught me out on a couple of occasions when not fully warmed. Otherwise a fair choice for the money but may not buy again unless cheap.

Bargain price , got to try out on a bike I&#39;ve just rebuilt as a track day bike that I can use on the road , grip well ,cut up nice , don&#39;t seem to wear ?!?!

Sportec M3 don&rsquo;t give me confidence in the slightest when wet. I&rsquo;ve had the rear wheel spin out on me when opening up to overtake on motorways in the wet. I&rsquo;m not a light person son the bike has a good load weight but breaking is very poor in the wet too.

Never liked the Pirelli's in the wet so tried these and got just a nice all round result. Not brilliant at anything but trustworthy in any weather.
