Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

/
SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.

Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!

Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.

Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.

Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Tyres optimised for electric vehicles.
Tyre developed for electric vehicles. These tyres can also be used without hesitation on vehicles with other drive systems.

Rear tyres failed with a bulge in two places after 10 months of driving and 4,000 miles. Major manufacturing error. Cheap Chinese tyres - unfortunately you really do get what you pay for.

Nice Budget tyres with that wide and quattro drive its hard to say it lose a grip or brake bad.
02.05.2022 from Alan
Just put these on the rear of my car. The were fitted on a wet day when the roads were greasy. With the tyres being brand new I was expecting wheel spin when I put the foot down. Nope, not a bit, the tyres bit hard. Even on the motorway at 120 kph when I put the foot down I could feel the extra grip and push which added to the driving pleasure and thrill. I've tried spinning the rear wheels in the wet but they just seem to grip really well.

Incredible Kinforest Tyres only for you

About the Company

The Kinforest Tyre Co. Ltd. was first established in late 2007. The roots of the organization date back to as early as the year of 2000 when it bought tyre production technology and equipment from another company called Firestone. In the year of 2006 Kinforest formed a joint partnership with the company, Continental and finally in 2007 the Kinforest Tyre Co. Ltd. was set up. The Kinforest, Starlake, Dailway and Mayrun brands are based on the Kinforest Company. Their huge catalog of products includes light truck tyres, UHP tyres, winter tyres and passenger car tyres. All the products of the company have received certifications from INMETRO, S-MARK, SABSAND, NOM, DOT and many other international and domestic certification organizations. The company is also the first Chinese tyre manufacturer to gain the ECE rolling sound certification.

Achievements of the Company

Today the company has over 2500 workers which is a sign of their huge success. The products of the company are sold in more than 170 different countries and are available in every continent of the world. Kinforest exports more than one million tyres worldwide which have a value of over 30 million. The company has made some huge achievements in the tyre industry in recent years. It claims to have produced the first 20-inch ultra-high-performance tyre of China with a size of 245/35R20 Y. Another landmark was the production of a tyre that can be used successfully at temperatures as low as -30 degrees. The tyre is a Z-rated ultra-high-performance tyre with a size of 205/55R16. Due to these new innovations the company has gained international recognition and is seeing an increase of customers in the international market.
