Comment:
Worst tire I've ever owned. I bought these in a pinch while away from home after finding a defect in the original tires while on vacation.
These are extremely noisy tires and the traction is borderline dangerous in wet conditions. Its almost impossible to accelerate away from a light without spinning a tire with these. They are worse in water than in packed snow for some reason. On dry roads, under normal conditions they seem ok, but they corner poorly and are showing dry rot cracks after only 3 years on the car which is garage kept and driven sparingly. The low end Goodyear tires the car came new with were far better riding and handling tires. Fuel consumption also suffered a bit with these tires, I track mileage to the penny on all my cars and my mileage on this car dropped from 22 mpg hwy, to just under 15 mpg with these tires. The next set of tires won't be from Cooper.
