really good tires, good in snow up to 4 fresh,ok on packed, fair on ice. i live in colorado and never know when i leave home in the morning what kind of road i will have when i come home. these tires have been good for two winters on snow and ice but not so good on muddy roads. i haven't been stuck or even needed tire chains so far. they are a good tire if you can get them cheap enough. they are great for highway driving. would recommend to every one.
