Comment:
I bought the Pirelli Night Dragons in November 2020 to replace the original Harley Davidson American Dunlops, which had zero grip in the wet and were squared off. I live on the Isle of Wight, which has a mix of fast single carriageway roads, urban roads, and windy country lanes. The road surfaces are variable and often wet, muddy or leaf covered. As I'm not a stereotypical HD rider, I need a tyre to allow me to ride throughout the year and not just when it was dry and sunny. My mileage has been restricted due to the Covid lockdown but I have been riding more of late and feel much more confident with the Pirellis, albeit I have to remember I'm riding a behemoth of a bike which still slides over wet manhole covers etc.
Overall a good purchase and I would recommend them to anyone seeking to replace their original HD tyres, and who isn't too bothered about not having the "HD" symbol on the sidewall!.
