Comment:
Bought the Extra Load version. Very happy, lots of grip in the wet , cold and heavy rain. TTS is a firm ride but even these extra load are so compliant, quiet and very comfortable for winter tyres. Had no snow so can’t comment on that aspect. Run Goodyear and Vredestein winters in the past but prefer the Yokohamas . Already had set of 17 rims from previous TT which is why I bought 17s rather than 18s. Excellent tyres !

I bought these tyres because of the price and performance and there isn't much choice for winter tyres on 21" rims. I drive sensibly with a mixture of counrty roads and highways. I have noticed the tyres are quite a bit noisier than summer tyres but that's to be expected given the tread pattern. Fuel consumption isn't that different which I'm pleased about. Grip, both wet and dry is exceptional. I usually buy tyres with rim protection, these don't have it and I have kerbed my wheels, just have to be more careful in future. Overall I'm pleased with these Yokohama's and would buy again.
