The ones i have are the RE040 (XL) with the stiffer side walls. Meaning that the steering is more precise. Grip/breaking in the dry is great. How ever the grip in the wet is less impressive. Trying to put the power down when pulling away in the wet is very poor. I have the RE050A fitted to my other car a much better tyre for grip in the wet/dry. Tho' they don't offer it in an XL fitment. Loved the RE040XL in the summer.I found them to be OK for comfort even with stiffer suspension, and the noise level OK. 50/50 if i have theses again or the RE050A
