I put these on the front of the car while I still had Bridgestone R Flats on the back. The Conti SC 5 are nearly illegal after 6 months of doing the school run and my wife using it for work. I use the car for a 5 mile trip to the gym twice a week and do drive it hard. The bridgstones look new after 15K and the Conti 5 just legal after 6k. I had Yokohamas on my old mini and got 20K out of them. I can guess the RF tyres do not help the balance of the car as they are like wooden cartwheels and slid around. I am a big fan of conti tyres and used the sport contact 2 on my old 328 sport and got 20K minimum. I am really disappointed with the SC 5 and expected to get near 20K as a minimum.

Comment:
Sure and steady grip even in the wet. Stops sideways slip, tha I used to experience cornering hard on my old RFT's Started wearing heavily on the centre band. So about time for a change.
