Had to do a second review, it turned out my tracking was out on the first one. I decided to get it checked as I haven't had the van long and didn't want to buy new tyres yet if I didn't need to.
They are now good enough to use until worn out but still not good enough to warrant replacing with more, I'd rather spend more on a more expensive tyre. The main weakness is the wet weather braking, they lock up almost instantly meaning care needs to be taken in such conditions. Braking in the dry is acceptable and handling both in the wet and dry is actually not bad for an all season tyre in the hot conditions we are having.
The wear rate is a bit higher than I had thought at first so knocked that down to 2 stars, I'd guess you would be looking at around 15,000 miles before illegal from new on the front of a typical FWD car or van.
