This tyre might be ok for a trailer or caravan, it was just ok during the summer which has been dry so far but now we are having wet weather it is terrible. In the wet in a straight line the steering feels like it is floating and could go out of control any moment despite trying lots of different tyre pressures. Throwing it into a corner it feels like it will slide out but once in the turn it feels better than on the straights and grips. In the dry it was ok but during spirited cornering squeals constantly. Overall I don't have confidence in these tyres, they came with my van with 8mm of tread on all 4, in 3000km the rears are down to 7mm and fronts 6mm wearing evenly across the tread. I'm just afraid that as winter approaches I will end up in a ditch or worst so an going to replace. Braking is the worst I have ever experienced in the wet in 24 years of driving on UK roads. OK in the dry though.

Had to do a second review, it turned out my tracking was out on the first one. I decided to get it checked as I haven't had the van long and didn't want to buy new tyres yet if I didn't need to. They are now good enough to use until worn out but still not good enough to warrant replacing with more, I'd rather spend more on a more expensive tyre. The main weakness is the wet weather braking, they lock up almost instantly meaning care needs to be taken in such conditions. Braking in the dry is acceptable and handling both in the wet and dry is actually not bad for an all season tyre in the hot conditions we are having. The wear rate is a bit higher than I had thought at first so knocked that down to 2 stars, I'd guess you would be looking at around 15,000 miles before illegal from new on the front of a typical FWD car or van.
