Comment:
I bought these to travel over massive central in France, I used them in earnest here in UK purchasing them just before the weather turned to snow. I live on a hill and was able to drive with ease on ungritted roads. Driving on motorways was very secure and stopping was excellent. In icy conditions the biggest probelm is you are unaware it is slippery for others - plus twice when I got out of the vehicle I nealry fell over because i was unaware the cap park was slippery! They are much noisier than my summer tires making hands free telephone and conversation in the cab a little more difficult. I estimate I also lost between 2 and 4 miles per gallon fuel consumption whilst driving on them. But the grip was worth this discomfort for the winter driving experience.
