I had Pirelli Sottozero serie ii on my last car and they were awful, but did allow me to get up the drive when covered in snow. These Alpin PA4 ZP's ride much better, grip much better and just don't really feel like a compromise unless you are really pressing on, when a summer tyre would be better. (I don't really push it when temperatures are sub zero.)
5 stars for dry grip, given its a winter tyre.
