Comment:
Most driving is open road/country roads with some towing (up to1700kg), some off road, including grassy fields. Have used tyre in snow and icy conditions - no problems.
Tyre has performed better than expectations from extensive reviews for a winter tyre. Fuel economy is a consistent 45mpg of mixed driving. The only drawback I have found is it has a long breaking distance in the dry compared to summer tyres, but if you have a sensible following distance it’s not a problem. I am regularly off road in grassy fields, towing and I’m pleasantly surprised by the car/tyre performance. Don’t notice road noise, or any other issues, but I pay all vehicle running costs so drive sensibly as I need it to last. Over 65,000km from first set of these tyres to 3mm tread. Changed prior to winter. Average 30-35,000km/year.
